; The Russian rotary ode in the context of the gynecratic origin of the Russian literary culture of the XVIII century Article is devoted to ideological style originality of the Russian rotary ode which is one of versions of Russian approving ode of the II half of the XVIII century. The author of article proves that the genre of Russian rotary ode presented by V. Petrov and G. Derzhavin's names in the Russian literary culture of the XVIII century was closely connected with the gynecratic origin finding the reflection in a gender masquerade and Amazonian myth of the beginning of Ekaterina's government. At the same time the rotary ode was one of versions of the Russian Pindaric ode in which national and patriotic pathos of glorification of sports valours of the best representatives of the era, like brothers Orlov, didn't demand obligatory presence of the didactic and educational element so habitual for the state odes of the XVIII century.
